To help prevent illness, all major health organisations worldwide recommend washing hands with soap & water as well as using an alcohol-based hand sanitiser spray or gel, 70% being the recommended strength. According to the latest research, there is no evidence that soaps and other products labeled "antibacterial" are more effective.
Preya and Med started Bloomtown out of their kitchen in 2016 after spending two years in Indonesia and witnessing first-hand the devastation caused by palm oil cultivation: the loss of virgin forest that is home to endangered Orangutans, tigers and so much of the world's biodiversity.
They were horrified to learn that so many of our store-bought products had palm oil lurking in their ingredients labels, so they made it their mission to offer concerned consumers truly safe and effective products that don't compromise on ethics.
